Jailbreak is just a term, when we JB an iPhone, we are just rooting it, and installing some packages to take advantage of the rooting

applanet is down for upgrades....up soon? i hope. rooting and jailbreaking are TOTALLY diferent. no need to change anything to use a hacked app on android....other than allow. Meaning press>>menu setting>>>applications>>>check unknown sources >>>>. Then use a file explorer to access the hacked apk. such as astro or estrongs,,, open the file explorer and find the downloaded apk (usally in downloads) then click on install

I get 18hrs+ on a rooted android(unrooted 6-8hrs)...on my jailbroken ipod i get 2-4hrs(un jailbroken 18hrs plus)...jailbroken and rooted are way diffrent. this is just one example

Did the applanet servers go down for upgrades? Tried to get on today but to no avail.

They are in the process of doing upgrades supposedly. It's been down for a long time now.

i have the motorola atrix but it doesnt have the choice to install unknown sources, how can i do to install an apk.??????
